REIB brings the energy sector together in Sofia to discuss the future of storage

On April 29, 2025, Renewable Energy Insurance Broker hosted a business breakfast at Vivacom Art Hall, Sofia, dedicated to the strategic role of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in securing the performance and bankability of renewable energy projects in Southeast Europe.

During the session, we also introduced our newly developed Special Terms for BESS Insurance, focused on addressing real risks and the evolving needs of both investors and lenders.

The event was opened by Delyan Iliev, Managing Director of REIB, and featured a presentation of REIB’s newly developed Special Terms for BESS Insurance by Dimitar Dimitrov, Business Development Manager, who also moderated the expert discussion.
